ollie-pro's Issues

Auto-installer from GitHub

Figure out a way to auto-install and activate the plugin based on the interaction in the Ollie theme (admin notice)

Footer

Is it possible to configure what a newly created site in Multisite will look like when Ollie is the network-activated theme? Such as disabling the footer and other default artefacts, and have a clean and basic appearance.

A site that is just started and no customization has been done has a big footer block that says "Ride with Ollie" and a bunch of placeholder links. It would be good if this was an option to show or not.

Homepage Preview

Sometimes you don't get the preview if you select a certain page.
It always falls back to the index template.

Settings in WP:

  • Settings -> Reading -> Display Latest Posts
  • Permalinks -> Plain

Setup Modal

Add back the setup modal to improve the onboarding experience with Ollie Dash.

Notice: Ollie Dash needs Ollie theme

We should have a notice + conditionally to load specific functions based on the activation status of the Ollie theme.
That also needs to cover child themes (parent theme context).
