Unlike the official component, this does not register the remote service. Could you possibly add it?

I open this survey with the purpose to collect the customizable command used in the configuration option. This would probably help to understand the right command to use for different AndroidTV models and find a method to implement this in backend library.

Please provide:

• Model and manufacturer of your AndroidTV device

Tried to set this up with both the custom and native integrations but all it shows as is off

Android TV Custom is not showing under Integration page after i have added the repo under HACS and i saw it download into the custom_components folder. It is the only folder there for Android called androidtv_custom.

I have rebooted HA and when i go to Integrations to search, it just brings up the none custom one.

I have just bought a SmartVU SV11 and its pretty good little device.

Is this supported? It is based on AndroidTV.

Not seeing it as an option when adding an new integration.

I only see "Android TV' which I assume is the official one.

the sources list isn't friendly

possible to add an option to sort the input and change names to something friendly?

First of all: great integration! Finally solved the issue that it was not always showing the name of the app correctly.

I have another unresolved issue though, also occurs with the default integrations.
My Nvidia Shield shows as 'standby' while playing something. This happens a couple of times per hour and it shows 'standby' for exactly 10 seconds.

Do you have any idea what could cause this?

I'm not sure if this is already possible somehow using already existing integrations, but on my Hitachi Smart TV I discovered that I'm able to change brightness by using this adb shell command:
settings put global picture_backlight 5 (sets to 5 percent)

I didn't find the setting easily, so I thought it might be useful to others (I want to automate brightness during the day), and if it's not in any AndroidTV integration would be a very nice addition.
