EZCam Download

EZCam is an Android library that simplifies the use of Camera 2 API for a basic usage.

Dependencie

Add the following line in your gradle dependencies :

compile 'me.aflak.libraries:ezcam:X.X'

Or if you use Maven :

TextureView

Important : The TextureView must be in a FrameLayout.

Initialize

Exif rotation not supported

The Image object in the saveImage method actually doesn't record the exif data and hence the resultant image is rotated in some devices when orientation is landscape. Let me know if there are any work around.

Landscape mode

Hello. Really thank you for this lib.
I have some problems with landscape mode. In landscape there is some borders on the sides of textureView when makes photo. Also photos taken in this mode anyway looks like a photo in portrait mode.
Is there any way to fix this?
I would be very grateful for the answer

Dull colors of picture

Hello, Colour of pictures are dull in Pixel 3xl device.Blue is too saturated, orange/yellow/red/green are too dull.Please find me a solution for that.

Camera preview wont open

Camera preview wont open. We need some updates for this library. We are in 2019 and no contribution is made.

Flash not working in some device

I have to implement your library but auto flash not working in some of the devices and also implement custom turn on and off flash both are not working.

Expose onImageAvailable()

Hello, I am looking for Android Camera2 libraries but none of them seems to handle preview images. I really need this feature.

There is some plan to include this feature to the library?

background service?

Is there anyway I could make it work as a background service (ie run even when the activity is not open)?
