Hi @jamescridland,

could you change the export script which generates the hosts.json to not escape slashes in URL? PHPs json_encode() has an option for that.

e.g. "hosturl": "http://www.abc.net.au", instead of "hosturl": "http:\/\/www.abc.net.au",

Just leaving this here in case anyone else wants to transform this json into a different format. This script preps the user agent list for BigQuery using the jsonl format.

I'd like to contribute back data from PodcastDb about the presence of Podcasting 2.0 supported tags per host. Is this something that this project wants?

How would we want to represent this data? I think just a "has_podcasting_20_tags" would be limiting. Maybe an array representation like ['funding','transcript'] which would be the podcast:funding but just the "funding", etc portion? I have data on each tag for each host.

AdBarker is currently listed in the hosts file, but they appear to consist of a prefix-based ad-insertion redirection service to other underlying hosts.

Shouldn't they be over in the prefixes file instead?
