A place to submit bug reports and usability feedback for Delaware government websites

Purpose

This github repository serves as a place to report problems with Delaware government websites (Anything with a delaware.gov url as well as some other state-run sites). It is a rapid-prototyping solution to a problem identified during Open Data Delaware Hack Night #8

How to use this

If you saw an issue with a DE government website, copy the URL into a new github issue (you will need a github account) on this repository and tag it with bug usability issue or out of date information. We'll talk with the approprate party in the Delaware government and investigate the issue.

DE Notification Services portal has broken privacy policy links

Issue Description: The page contains two links to the Delaware Privacy Policy, both of which link to the following (broken) url and produce a 404 error: http://www.delaware.gov/egov/portal.nsf/portal/privacy

Steps to Reproduce: Visit the Notification Services Portal page and click either "Delaware's State Privacy Policy" or "Click here to read a copy of the State's privacy policy."

Out of date information

Airport database contains a map showing locations of airports, but does not contain any data records. The 'Rich List' view displays field labels, but no records. The Airport data is in the following location.

Broken links in DSCYF Newsroom

Issue Description: A number of links in the "DSCYF in the news!" section of the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families Newsroom website are broken. The articles may have been moved or deleted.

The following links are impacted:

School Feeder Search provides broken links to schools

Issue Description: Links provided for more information on Delaware feeder schools produce a 404-page-not-found error rather than leading to school information.

Steps to Reproduce: Visit the provided url and click any "View school information" link next to any of the listed schools. Or search for an address here, select a result, and click "View school information" next to one of the feeder schools listed.

Broken links on OneStop Introduction page

Issue Description: A number of links on the Delaware OneStop homepage are broken. Below is a list of the impacted links and the behavior observed on each one.

The following links are impacted:

• Prerequisites -- Opens an empty new tab with the URL about:blank displayed
• Translate -- Opens the "Dela-where?" 404-error page
• Entity Reservation (Left-hand sidebar) -- opens a new tab with a "refused to connect" error
• Text Only (Top of page) -- Opens the Delaware.gov homepage
