Disable "Lab Documents" option

Is there a way to deactivate the Lab Documents option that WebDev created for us (which spawns the Upload Documents page on a new site)? I don’t see it listed out as a separate plugin (I was going to deactivate it if I did), but we feel like it’s really confusing to users and doesn’t work that well anyway so we’d love to get rid of it until we have a better file uploading solution in place.

Get PHP error log out of web root

Remove text/checkbox "Yes I'd like to create a new blog" from registration page

Can you please remove the text/checkbox “Blog Details—> Yes, I’d like to create a new blog” from the registration page? (http://openlab.citytech.cuny.edu/register/) We think this will stem the tide of new blogs created (but not used) until we get a chance to rearchitect the Sites area.
