Sample of MicroProfile GraphQL on OpenLiberty

This is a simple demo of the MP GraphQL capabilities in OpenLiberty.

To run, clone this repository, and then run: mvn clean package liberty:run

Then browse to: http://localhost:9080/mpGraphQLSample/graphiql.html

Then try a query like:

sample-mp-graphql's Issues

Feedback from demo at Greensboro JUG

During last evening's demo to the Greensboro JUG, some questions came up that would be good to address in this sample:
(1) How to create and query a complex object? Currently, the Conditions object only has primitive (or String) fields that don't show how to query sub-objects. Perhaps we could add a Wind object to Conditions that would contain fields like direction, speed, gusts, etc.
(2) How to execute queries/mutations as a GraphQL client? This would need to use the third-party SmallRye APIs (which are subject to change), but would be good to have on hand in this sample app.
