AppStore assets

This repository contains all the assets used for AppStores.

Folder structure

In assets are all the assets specific to a single store. Most often, those have very specific (size) requirements and are as such custom-made for that store.

In lang are the translations of blobs of text used on the stores. As most stores use the same blobs, those are as generic as possible, and do not mention the stores itself. eints takes care of the translations.

In news are the assets used for news posts on various of stores.

In screenshots is our collection of screenshots we publish on stores.

Trailer

As the trailer is large (100+MB for mp4 and 2GB for the source), we cannot add it to git. As such, it is added as release.

Language mapping for Steam

eints identifies languages different than Steam. This is the mapping we use:

Incorrect license name

This is the license text:

OpenTTD is free and open-source software, licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2.0. OpenTTD is under ongoing development. OpenTTD is not an abbreviation of anything.

This is incorrect, GPL version 2.0 does not exist, it is actually just version 2.
