maxdown's Issues

Favicons

Don't forget to implement the two favicons: one for the basic state, the other while saving.

UPDATE: after working with Maxdown for longer periods today, the greed saving icons indeed feels very distracting. Let's see, if removing it and going only with the favs is better.

Theme adjustments

  • Hover effect Menu button and new document button
  • Transparent menu button
  • Save theme setting via cookie

Add version check page

Maxdown needs a page to check the current version. This is useless while using the app via web but it's very important for using it "offline". The page would should the current version installed and the most recent version available.

Add fullscreen mode

Fullscreen mode is already embedded.

  • Need some more improvement
  • Styling bug in Chrome

No functionality on Nexus 5

When installing Maxdown via Firefox there's no functionality after launching the App from the Homescreen or Menu. It stays blank, doesn't show the "default" Document and I'm unable to add new documents. The same happens when I open the "Web App" - nothing is accessible at the moment.

Android 5.1.1
Firefox 38.0.1

Layout optimization

While in writing mode, we should only display the menu at the top right, and a small spinner while saving on the left.
As soon as the menu is opened, is should turn into a X, while an additional box for options should appear to the left. For now, this box should only contain the icon to switch themes.
