osm-polygons-generation's Issues

Polygon with a hole not correct

Hi,

i used your service on http://osm102.openstreetmap.fr/~jocelyn/polygons/index.py?id=62504 which is pretty great!

Unfortunately i was unable to import resulting WKT data into my postgis database. In this special case i think the generation of the polygon is not correct, as it is mainly an outline polygon with a hole. The resulting Multipolygon has more than one "holes". Maybe the OSM Data is corrupt. Could you have a look? This is how it should look like:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/62504

Thank you,

Christoph

What are the allowed request quotas?

I'm working on importing geometries for multiple admin subdivisions for a country. When I import the data from your service, I'm getting a HTTP 429 (too many requests). What are the allowed request quotas? The HttpResponse does not contain a Retry-After header either

Unclosed polygons

Hi

I was wondering if there is some modifications between the site http://polygons.openstreetmap.fr/ and the github repository because when I run localy the SQL function create_polygon() of the init.sql file on relation 2885772, it give me an error
NOTICE: missing connexion at point -7.2837169f 29.4492886f
NOTICE: missing connexion at point -6.604455f 29.527368f
ERROR: lwpoly_from_lwlines: shell must be closed

...but not when I try to get the polygon on the website, it give me a well formed WKT.
note that the function works well for some other relations (e.g : paris/7444)

Is there some optimisations done on the website? or I do something wrong ?
