need a mission statement

This sounds goofy, but if we have a mission statement from the beginning (i.e. what is this book about) then it'll give the book focus. Plus then we'll realize we will quickly outgrow the mission statement, so then we can turn this into a set of volumes and then a bi-annual subscription and then world domination!

decide on a markup

Need to decide on a text markup to use as well as a framework for generating a website, PDF and ebook formats. We can use the ebook/PDF formats on our FirefoxOS devices in the kitchen. We can use the PDF to make a physical book to give to people. We can use the website to sell sickening amounts of advertising and make us all a million dollars so we can buy an island and retire.

license

We need to distribute the book under a license so it doesn't default to regular copyright. This should be in a LICENSE file in the repository and also be a page in the frontmatter of the book.
