mclock's Issues

Font does not match system clock

I have mclock and the system clock in my menubar when traveling. The mclock menu bar clock does not exactly match the system clock. The text seems to be a bit smaller.

In the image here I've overlaid Sun from mclock and the system clock so you can see the difference.

installable app? (not in app store)

Please provide an installable version of the app. The link to the Apple app store no longer works. Not everyone who would like to use this know how to build the app with Xcode. If possible, add a website address from where it can be downloaded. Otherwise, make releases on GitHub and attach a compiled app, ready to install and run.

Update frequency

Would it be possible to have a preference for update frequency (or just have a version where it updates every second)? I really like this app and it's great to have the second clock in my status bar but it would be nice for the minute field to update quickly after the minute changes.

out of sync

Today, I've noticed that mclock is out of sync with the system clock. See the screenshot below:

mclock out of sync

After I enabled the seconds display in the system clock, I saw that mclock was thirty-nine (39) seconds behind the system clock.

That shouldn't happen. mclock should always be in sync with the system clock.

I then enabled the seconds display in mclock. It didn't update the seconds on every second at all. At first, it showed "21" seconds, without changing. Then, within that same minute, it updated to ":58". After that, it only updated the minutes, whenever the actual time was at "58" seconds. That is, mclock became 58 seconds behind.

Future features

I just purchased the app store version and I am looking forward to the pro updates.

Do you have a timeline for when second by second updates and multiple timezone support will be available?

Menu with timezones

would be nice to have a menu with timezones. basically something like:

----------------------------------
10:01 GMT+7 PDT
----------------------------------
02:01 GMT+9 JST Tokyo
10:01 GMT-7 PDT San Francisco
13:01 GMT-4 EDT New York
18:01 GMT+1 CET Paris, Berlin
----------------------------------
 • editable TZs
 • editable TZ Text (e.g. "GMT+9 JST Tokyo" above)
 • maybe can select order of the tokens

Time out of sync with system clock

Hi,

I bought this app from the Mac App Store but the time is out of sync with the system clock - the minute digit changes about 10+ seconds after the system - I expected them to be precisely in sync.

It would also be good to have custom text instead of the zone prefix (i.e. New York instead of EST).

Thanks.
