aescrypt2's Issues

Problem with decrypting

Dear all, I don't know if this project is still alive, but I've encountered a problem. I'm copying correct key from device
and every time I want to decrypt file I'm getting this info.
HMAC check failed: wrong key, or file corrupted.

Fix Project.

Fix project for huawei. I can't figure out how to set key and where.

What encryption is used for ftp acc ?

Here is hashed string

"$1G=0bNPL;-I@l@9#SxeDXV,]!6knC@$l3/Jc^t`.{Z@{IV,]!G9b[!oS@HS8'1.4veOpXV,]!k]H+,`@Aw2RF=q*D+(_HV,]!$"

does anyone know what type of encryption is this ?

I know that this one $1vdLMPbtx"*_4S6P@8j.#V,]!$ is `gcmoct

Particular case

Hi palmerc, thank you for your amazing work:

As of now I have an HG8245Q that is unlocked: I can see in cleartext che configuration file without using aescrypt2, but the problem is that all the password inside AuthPasswd fields seems to be encoded in a strange way: they start with $1 and end with a $.

I can access via telnet to the router but I cannot do anything because of the terrible cli inside

Did you find a way to decode them, or at least the algo used?

SHA256(MD5(text)) Does not match the new hashing algorithm

How can I achieve this hash?

$2F:Xx(E+'"YPE*nLuPti@(jwDR1P.Y!|#[)4TtxM0ITUp<P=d-H=HVuQLhi0WjJ=v5n@Bo@:Ys!37zaC*<\F%:I9AK:-mdvI/3XZ($

Here is the sample config

<X_HW_CLIUserInfoInstance InstanceID="1" Username="root" Userpassword="$2F:Xx(E+'"YPE*nLuPti@(jwDR1P.Y!|#[)4TtxM0ITUp<P=d-H=HVuQLhi0WjJ=v5n@Bo@:Ys!37zaC*<\F%:I9AK:-mdvI/3XZ($" UserGroup="" ModifyPWDFlag="0" EncryptMode="2" Salt="0a6106c12bc358546fd7af6a"/>
