ruqqus-android-app's Issues

FDroid Version

Would it be possible to also support the app on FDroid?

Cloudflare protection is blocking app from entering

The newly implemented cloudflare bot protection is preventing the app from entering. The message is "Checking your browser before accessing ruqqus.com". Every 5 seconds the Ray ID changes.

I am using Android 11 with Brave browser, if that matters. I can pass the bot protection from the browser itself.

sudden crash

using the application and it crashes without any reason whatsoever

Set font size (Feature Request)

I use the app because the fonts are a bit bigger than in my browser. It's still hard to read comfortably, if possible please allow a setting to change font size.

From back when I meddled in webview apps, there was an option to set font size (Normal, Large, Extra Large etc.), perhaps that could be the way to go? If unable to create settings, I'd still love a separate app with fonts sizes hardcoded to Large/Extra large!

Thank you for your work on the app so far and thank you for not baking in any user tracking! :D

(improvement) RuqES implementation

Please implement some or all of the features from the Ruqqus Enhancement Suite, such as infinite scrolling, image uploading, or easier to press upvote buttons. If you could find a way to inject the RuqES userscript into the site, that'd be great.

App Displays White Screen

Launching the app only displays a white screen for me.

Model: Oneplus 5
OS Version: LineageOS 16 MicroG Build

Footer blocks "back/next" options at the bottom of the feed

If you are using the Android app, if you are scrolled to the bottom of a feed and can see "Back/Next", it will be blocked by the footer if you view the comments on a post, and press the back button.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Go to any feed (New, Hot, etc)
  • Scroll to the bottom of the feed
  • View a comment section
  • Press the back button

If you scroll up slightly, I believe the footer will hide, but from a UI/UX perspective the user shouldn't need to do that.
