Frequency value

In below code; the pulseIn(_output, LOW) function returns the length of the pulse in microseconds Only the LOW wave part so if we want to know the correct period I think we shoud duplicate the time of "duration" because the outputs are 50%-duty cycle square waves.

Divide by Zero in function return

My setup: ESP32 module with TCS3200 sensor in a LED color detector. The LED light direct to the sensor causes the ESP32 to reset in the 100% and 0% scaling.

The cause is the line: return (1000/pulseIn(_output, LOW); in colorRead funtion.

"pulseIn()" function return 0 when timeout and the return cause a divide by zero error.
