The following explanation is in conjunction with Programming Projects II project statement

System requirements

• Android Studio Chipmunk 2021.2.1 or later

It was tested using Pixel 3a API 32 arm64-v8a

Functionalities

• 2.1 Authentication, authorization and user profile

  • Sign In/Out/Up
  • View/Edit Profile(s)

• 2.2 Social Features

  • See all friends/requests
  • Manage friends/requests

• 2.3 Event Management

  • Manage Events
  • View a list of Events/Event details
  • Manage user association with event

• 2.4 Chat

  • Send chats to a specific user
  • View message history

Wireframe

This project was began in the application as instructed in the project statement. This allowed for the visualization of the placement of different features of the app before coding began. Even though certain colors or other aspects could have dramatically changed or been slightly modified, this rough draft can be seen throughout the now functioning app. The project can be found here.
