logging in is well important, and we ought to have a test to cover it, innit?

Right now, the only two options are your profile's location and anywhere. It might be useful to be able to customize this on a per-offer basis.

I tried this:

Right now, it redirects to the Facebook website, which isn't as classy.

if I click 'request' on a service, it opens up a little form to send a message. But rather than dropping down below the service I was requesting, the form appears below the service previous to it

so they can change their default location, preferred e-mail address, etc.

I created an offer with the following title: "PHP and MySQL"

It appears on the frontend as "Php And My Sql".

The default Facebook-app logo is rather off-putting:

If I click 'log in with facebook', enter my facebook details, and click login I get:

"The change you wanted was rejected.

Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."

This happened on both firefox and chrome.

Not saying it's necessarily worth the time to add, but thought I might as well put it down as a suggestion 😄

As an example, I could add 'Request: basic office/household good X' (for the Charity Science office/house), and this would only be visible to Vancouver EAs who chose to look at Vancouver-only offers/requests (many of whom'd be happy to freecycle stuff through Charity Science and other EAs).

I think they're automatically compiled from SCSS, so they don't need to be in the repo.

Name, e-mail address, and location would be good are probably all that are needed. I can't seem to get the location, even though I explicitly requested it on the Facebook app permissions page:

(I added a bunch of extra stuff to see if it would make any difference, and it didn't.)

If no one is logged in, the user should be directed to sign in.

Perhaps a link to a form that, when submitted, sends an e-mail to the recipient.

by default fill the "location" field on the proposal new & create pages with the location pulled from the database. Maybe from Facebook.

Maybe Twitter Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation would be helpful.

Why?

The current behavior allows users to access other users' edit and new views. It actually allows a user to edit another user's proposal. I don't think it allows a user to create a proposal for another user—if you attempt this, you'll instead end up creating a proposal for yourself.
