It is now possible to have templates which extend templates with the same name, and I believe that is why I am now seeing

RecursionError: maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object

I have a templates/oscar/checkout/payment_details.html in the local project, which starts with

{% extends 'oscar/checkout/payment_details.html' %}
...

which refers to the template of the same name in django-oscar.

When using loaders, Django fails if APP_DIRS is also used. As a result, usually one of the loaders is 'django.template.loaders.app_directories.Loader' which does the same thing.

If django-template-tree cant get the templates out of django.template.loaders.app_directories.Loader, it could detect its presence and follow the same logic as when APP_DIRS is enabled.
