Some dependencies are outdated, tried npm update but still failed

I turned the three strokes into shapes so when the logo is reduced or enlarged it looks proportional.

I created a PR but I am unable to add a reviewer to it. My PR number is #113

There are other sectors that businesses exist in the country. e.g. Medicine, Law, Entertainment, Communications, Advertising etc.

I have two suggestions:

• One would be to add more categories to the list existing on the site.
• Another would be to wait till developers in these sectors want to add their logos and find out they are not listed so they add the categories themselves.

Which do you think works better?

Allow multiple logo versions for organizations.

Example use case would the square versions or dark color versions of the logos.

Proposed implementation would be to add a new field to logos.json entries, say alternates and then have the app render a "click here to see alternate versions" below the image that brings up a modal with alternates to download.

Dear team, here is the new AXA Mansard brand logo. This is in compliance with AXA global brand principle.

MTN is not FCMG. MTN is telecom biz. Other brands are not properly categorized.

The Instruction on the ReadME.MD to set up the project locally isn't detailed enough. As after downloading the dependencies and starting up the SCSS, what else 🤷‍♂️?

As we approach 100 logos, It's getting harder to browse through the site. With alphabetical sorting, we can have a more efficient arrangement and make it easier to browse through the entire collection.

Tried to run the site on my local machine.

After running npm run scss, I opened the index.html and noticed that because of the absolute URL structure in fetching resources, they aren't found.

Fixing this might just require changing to relative URLs ../, but might affect production idk.

Orr a node file can be added to run the site on express for local dev 🤷‍♂

I think we should move the logos.json file from js folder to root, for two reasons:

• This file is an important reference for the project and it should be super easy to find
• json != js

I'm a big fan of this project and I'm stoked to see that it has become the one-stop-shop for logos of Nigerian companies.
My request kind of stems from a selfish place, albeit, I think it'd be beneficial to a whole lot of folks considering Paystack powers payment across Africa.

REQUEST

I think this logo collection should be expanded to accommodate companies located in other African countries. We could have a fork of this that translates to africalogos, where companies including those located in Nigeria can upload their logos.

What do you think? Is this something the team is considering? I'm happy to put in work to make this happen if need be.

Hello @demilad and team,

I'm working on a project and I'm looking to make use of nigerialogos, however, I was hoping if there's a roadmap for having an API endpoint that could serve the URLs for the logos for a company.

Accessing the URL https://nigerialogos.com/logos.json gives me all the list of companies whose logos have been added but I am unable to access the URL from this endpoint, also looking to see if it's possible to have an endpoint to retrieve information for a single company.

I'm able to raise a PR for this, I just wanted to know if this is something the team is looking to support before I do that, or build out a solution separately.
