Two main problems.

1. There are files missing (or rather misslabeled) that prevents being able to install this from github. Is the SSC version sufficient?
2. Trying to run the example file (after downloading the full repository) gives me the following error

                 fopen():   601  file not found
                 <istmt>:     -  function returned error [1]

3 Is there other source that one can look into to understand the workflow of the commands?

Line 4295 in the lsae_povmap.mata code contains : mata mlib create lsae_povmap, dir("`c(sysdir_plus)'l") replace

When running the package without administrative privileges, or without writing permissions to access the ado/plus folder the functions return an error. Usually, adopath + "" allows Stata to read packages from other folders but it fails to work when the output folder is hardwired and there are no permissions.
