The application is only usable at Barcelona. The map tiles of the Barcelona area could be stored locally, so the application would be usable without internet connection.

The current icon/artwork is (probably) a depiction of an Oak tree.

Following this pattern, find more Oak theme based artwork for the application icons/logos for the 1.0 release.

Currently, the initial location is fixed, at Glories square. This initial location should be configurable by the user.

There could be a list of other saved locations that the user may edit and retrieve.

Now that Qt 6.5 is already released including the Qt Location Maps module that was not previously available in Qt6, it may be possible to port the application to Qt6. This is the list of tasks for this issue to achieve the goal:

• Dependency libq7zip ported to Qt6
• Conversion to CMake build system
• Build with Qt 6.5.x
• Tests

The map tiles cache has a size limit policy, established by the OSM Plugin parameters, but there is not a cache cleanup policy by date. If the mapped area is small (like in this case) there may be very old cached tiles, that should be replaced by new ones on a date basis.

Anyway, even without this date policy, the user should be able to cleanup the cache storage voluntarily.
