Sorry, it's a known Chrome issue. I can't implement this feature until Chrome
supports
proxy user authentication.

Thanks!

This is a show stopper for me. It's the only missing that holds me to move to
Chrome from FF. FF with foxyproxy works perfect. WE NEED PROXY AUTHENTICATION .
thank you.

With the latest dev update, I got a Chrome message asking if I wanted to store
the proxy's username and password and it did. Now I don't have to type them
every time.

I think this pretty much closes this issue, right?

When will it be possible to enter a username and password when setting up a
proxy via Proxy Switchy! ?

Having the possibility to set a username and password when setting up a proxy
via Proxy Switchy should be a must have. Hope you add this feature very soon!

This is *almost* resolved. Chrome now stores proxy username and password -
however it still pops up a box for the credentials, requiring you to click
'Login'. Switchy needs to store and apply theses credentials automatically for
each proxy.

Thanks and best wishes,

Tim

Definitely need this feature.

Please take into account the spdy protocol.

I also echo the echo's for the need for "possibility to set a username and
password when setting up a proxy via Proxy Switchy". It's quite a hassle
otherwise. Thanks for the great extension!

The user:pass dialogue is prone to being closed immediately due to redirection,
thus fields are unable to be filled when timed out. This unnecessary 403 and
lack of password is common, unavoidable, and is unfortunately the reason why
Internet Explorer of all web browsers is advocated at work. Please add this
functionality, as Chrome is unusable on many servers without it.

maybe you put the user:dialog for password & username in the option unter
settings to save username & pw!!!!!

how we can donate you???

thx
