Actually it's a known issue that Chrome doesn't have its own proxy 
configuration yet; 
moreover, it doesn't support Socks v5.
Therefore, we couldn't do anything except waiting for Chrome to fix these 
issues..

Well, this issue has been fixed and released in Chrome 4.0.249.86
(see http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29914).
So I'll mark this issue as fixed.

Are you sure this is fixed? There's still no option in Switchy to send DNS 
queries through the SOCKS proxy, and Chrome's Under the Hood options don't have 
this either (nor should they if I'm using Switchy to manage my proxy).
