Hello Peter,
just to inform you I managed to rewrite the source using K&R style.
It works... it's a little bit slower (with only 62KB of RAM available), and to compile/assemble/link the interpreter, with Aztec C compiler, it takes 10 mins.

The word lambda is misspelled in README.

I went to convert the README's text to a test file. For half an hour I wondered why the line that applies an anonymous identity function to 1 was resulting in a message "unbound variable lamba".

Yeah, and when I manually entered a line that did the same thing I was always typing lambda correctly and so I was really puzzled when the test file would error out.

The bug is:
