The dependencies are not easily manageable.
Having a requirements.txt or adding them to the setup.py would help the deployment and the integration with any CI system.

The idea is to have a layer of abstraction to be able to plug Serge to other tools like an IRC bot instead of just Hipchat.

Add unit tests + integrate with Travis/Circle CI and eventually a code coverage tool.
This will help preventing some issues in the future.
If we add a pylint/pep8 check to the travis / circleci job, we'll also make sure that the quality of the code is high and stays this way.

Python 3 is becoming more and more the standard and python 2 is being deprecated.
Serge needs to be tested on Python 3 and the setup.py needs to be updated once that's done.

This would require to have an abstraction layer of the provider to be able to target openstack or aws without too much code modification.
