A scammer has been able to remove the bot from the system. Please advise:

A simple instruction on how to push this to Heroku would be appreciated.

New users are currently not being added automatically in the IDusername_mapping vector, since it is initiated when bot starts.

Woulld need to append with new signups.

Would be nice if similar to how public ETH/BTC keys are filtered, if there was a filter for private keys with a friendly reminder to the poster that private keys should never be shared with anyone.

Currently, the bot replies publicly, which can take quite a bit of space (especially $url list)

coule you please include a $command to set the text of a reminder message and its interval, in minutes perhaps? maybe it could be possible to set different reminder messages and timers?

Seems like the bot doesn't delete all messages as it should be. Could be API limit that calls an error. Might need to make a list of msg to delete and go through them with catch and except until they are deleted.

Would be nice to be able to add specific URLs that are banned from a Slack. Specifically, on the Numerai Slack, scammers have been posting n-u-m-e-r-a-i.t-e-c-h (without the hyphens), which is a look-alike of the Numerai website that asks for your private keys.

Newly created channels don't have their topic added to the ChannelsTopics.txt file, so bot doesn't find the topic.

For easier deployment and roll-out, might be worth to have a Dockerfile with all the goodies included so people can easily add it through systems like Now.sh or other Docker cloud systems.

If no one is interested, I'll be happy to take on that task.

It'd be great if all new users were greeted with a warning about scammers, with instructions to report them to an admin immediately.

it seems when using consensus = 1 and if a mod of the bot is not a slack admin, the bot does not output these mod flagged users to -scam-alert

The domain deletes random posts which contain period of any kind, like this.example or this...example

Could you maybe improve the regex? or check against known domain endings?

by the way: how to turn off the url filter after init?

In the event that a scammer posts an ETH or BTC address, it could be an alternative idea to message moderators with the scammers account name, rather than post a loud public message in the channel.

I am trying to initialize this bot but I get the error:

After that, it restarts and keeps on repeating this error. Does anybody know what I did wrong? I have checked everything multiple times but to no succes. Really don't know what this error message means.

Does anybody have clue?

Is it possible for the bot to monitor private messages? Sometimes scammers to direct messaging.

Is it possible to prevent a scammer for using the group broadcasts?

Bot doesn't seem to delete bad messages in threads and does not reply in a thread if it's called there (like slackbot does).
