I'm not sure where the bug is atm, but after importing utils.js for #1 the css wasn't being applied to the main window, because the function which is supposed to add it wasn't running.

After I used the watchWindows method w/in utils things were working again, so I'm guessing there is a bug in the existing code someplace, it is very similar to the watchWindows code though, and since it's in the utils.js file I figured we might as well use it.

This also separates the logic unique to this addon from the logic that is not unique to it.

This is basically the same issue as mozilla/prospector#9

Problem

Inactive tabs are not faded in the first browser instance after upgrading. However, the tabs were obviously made inactive by BarTab Lite because when I clicked on them, they loaded from the internets. Fortunately, faded tabs worked again after restarting the browser.

Procedure

1. Shut down Firefox 5
2. Run the installer for Firefox 6
3. When prompted, launch Firefox from installer
4. Click through add-on compatibility foo
5. See main browser window. See unfaded tabs.

Expected Behavior

Tabs are always faded.

Misc

• I also have philikon's vertical tabs extension installed.
• I did not try downgrading to reproduce
• This seems to be a minor bug since expected behavior resumes after restart.
• I'm not sure if it is related to Firefox 6, the upgrade procedure, running the add-on compatibility wizard, or something else.
