As an administrator I want to be able to manage nodes on a floorplan so that I don't waste any time manually putting the data into the database

Acceptance Criteria:

• When nodes can be added, deleted and edited on a floorplan edit page
• When all the data is stored and retrieved from the database

We want to manage nodes so the database can hold these values and then will always return these values so the map stays the same.

As a system I want to get the distance between the device and a beacon in meters so I can use the distance for the algorithm

Acceptance criteria: When the mobile application converts the RSSI in meters.

As a user I want the web app to show the route with the least population and as a second priority the shortest route so that I can take the fastest safest route

Acceptance criteria:

A user may choose a start and end node and the system will draw a path between them, while prioritizing least population met the most important parameter and the shortest path as the second most important.

As a system I want to filter the 3 nearest beacons so that I can use the most accurate data for the algorithm

Acceptance criteria: When the mobile app only uses the 3 nearest beacons for the data.

As a map-admin I want drag nodes from a toolbar into the node system so that it is easier and clearer to set the nodes

Acceptance Criteria:

A working hotbar where you are able to drag a node from it over to a canvas (ex: diagram applications such as Creately and UMLet)

As an administrator I want to be able to link nodes so that they can calculate a path using a algorythm without having to adjust the code in the application

Acceptance criteria:

We want to link nodes so that we can store the known nodes in a node with this the algorithm can decide what next node to take this linking will also determine the distance between the nodes.

As a developer I want the Android application to distinguish between beacons and other bluetooth devices so that hackers can not send fake data and interfere with the algorithm.

Acceptance criteria: When the mobile application filters the iBeacons on their UUID.

As a user I want the web application to calculate the approximate location of the users so that the website can calculate a route with the least population for me

When the users location has been calculated by the server

As a system I want users to have an account so that I can distinguish data between users

As a user I want to be able to see which areas in the building are the most crowded using mock-data so that i can avoid those areas in the future when making my way through the building safely

Acceptance Criteria:

Visualization of a circle on the map, where the size is based on the amount of people nearby, depended on mock-data

As a user I want my approximate location in the building to be regularly updated in the system so that I can I can have more accurate representation of my whereabouts inside the building

As a developer I want to implement an existing path find algorithm to the web application so that I don’t have to make an algorithm myself and have more time

As a developer i want to have database injection protection so that our users data is protected.

As a user i want to receive relevant up-to-date information regarding the number of people on the floor I am located on and its floor plan. so that I can take the necessary precautions with my routing.

As a user I want to see what is my location on the floorplan so that I know where I am currently positioned

As a system I want to display the shortest path from a start node to an end node that has been calculated so that a user may have the shortest path to their desired location shown.

Acceptance criteria:

One may create a path between a start and end node and the system can successfully display the calculated path, which is the shortest and with the fewest amount of people using mock data.

As a developer I want to be able to create a node from in the application so that setting premade paths is easier

As an administrator I want the possibility to add a staircase/elevator node so the user can see where the staircases/elevators are located

Acceptance Criteria:

When u create a stair node it will show the user that it is leading to another floor and if the floor is above or below.

As a user I want the application to see what is the nearest node on the basis of my approximate location so that I know where I am currently positioned on the floor plan.

As a map admin I want to be able to give nodes a set location so that there is a set amount of paths for the users to take. To improve the algorithm outcome.

Acceptance criteria:
when you can drag nodes onto intersections
as a map admin.

As a map admin I want to differentiate between intermediary nodes and destination nodes so that my mapped nodes are more structured

We want to make sure that we can show the correct information and prevent the algorithm to use the wrong nodes for this we can use 2 types of nodes intermediary and destination nodes. Destination nodes will be the only visible nodes for normal users.

As a system I want the floorplans to be scaled to the real width of the floor so that my position can be tracked on the floorplan accurately

Acceptance Criteria:

When the floorplans pixel width can be translated to a realistic width. So that we can pinpoint the location of the user on a floorplan

As a administrator I want to be able to upload new floor plans so that I don't have to waste precious time on manually injecting them.

Acceptance criteria:

Being able to upload a set of images to the database linked with an ssid

As a system I want the app to send the distance of the beacons continuously to the back-end when it opens so that the back-end always knows the users location

When the Android application continuously sends the data of the 3 beacons to the database after opening the app

Acceptance criteria: When the admin can drag the beacons to a fixed position on the floor plan.

As a user i want my approximate location within the building saved so that in case of an emergency it can be used for my safety.

As a user I want the possibility to log in to the web application so that my user info is connected to my location

As a system I want to calculate the shortest path from a start node to an end node via lines and their distance values, along with population values of every node and display the path with shortest path and least population, while population takes priority so that a user can see the shortest and least populated path

As a system I want to visualize a calculated path on the heatmap in the user's application so that it is simpler for them to follow the path's directions.

Acceptance criteria:

One may create a path between a start and end node via Dijkstra algorithm and the system can successfully display the calculated path on top of a heatmap.

As a user i want my data to be persisted so that I can have access to appropriate floor plans and accurate route calculation in the future

Have instant access to relevant floor plan and heat map representation

As a user I want to be able to see the floor plan and set my start and end point so that I can retrieve a safe route towards a destination in the building.

As a admin I want to be able to upload and delete floorplans to a assigned ssid so that I have a easier time managing the floor plans

As a privileged user, the administrator can edit the floorplans for local networks

As a system i want to be able to use data from the database so that it can be used for a heatmap

On opening the web application a user is shown the right floor plan based on a SSID or a manually picked SSID
( this depends on another user story about picking a technique of getting the SSID in a web application )

Edge cases:

If the user is not connected to the network in the desired building the user will get alerted based on SSID Mock data

If there are no floor plans available for the manually chosen SSID the user will be alerted

As an administrator I want to be able to see all stored floorplans on an SSID and delete them so that I dont have to waste precious time on manually deleting them out of the database

As a developer I want the web application to receive the correct data of the locations of the Android devices in the building by making API calls to the server so that the application can use it to make a more accurate route calculated by the algorithm in the future.

As a user I want the Android application to receive the correct data of the beacon names and the RSSI of the beacons in range of the Android device so that the data can be used to pinpoint Android devices locations to avoid.

As a developer I want to make a decision what technique that we are going to use for getting the SSID in the web application so that we have the best way of retrieving the SSID.

As a user I want the Android application to pinpoint the location of the devices using triangulation so that I know where every Android device is and I can avoid them.

As a user I want to set nodes as a start and end point so that the application can show me the least populated route to the end point in the future.

Visualization of nodes, ability to set a node to a start or end point.
