Host a Healthcare Hero is a single-page application(SPA) that describes the goals and mission of a fictional non-profit organization that partners with local businesses and volunteers to provide health, wellness, and personal care services to healthcare workers from all levels of the healthcare system.

Installation

To clone and run this application, you'll need Git and Node.js version 16.13.2. From your command line:

# Clone this repository
$ git clone https://github.com/pia007/Hero

# Go into the repository
$ cd hero

# Install dependencies
$ npm install 

# Run the app
$ npm start or yarn start

FAQs

1. Is the organization an actual non-profit organization?
No. Host a Healthcare Hero is not a real organization. Although, the overall content is based on the experiences of actual healthcare workers that were kind enough to provide insight.

2. What's the purpose of building this web application?
Software developers do more than just code. Problem solving is just as important as writing a line of code. Throughout the pandemic, the healthcare system has been pushed beyond it's limits with workers suffering greatly. This application utilizes React, Redux and Bootstrap to present an idea of how to address the issue, as well as, what the solution could look like in action.
