If the list of projects was turned into a table that is sortable by its columns (language, #stars,...), It'd be awesome.

This project seems a bit unmaintained. Would be great to keep it active.

@pickhardt I am working on a website where project owners can host their projects. I can add projects which are staled or authors can submit it by themselves.
I am showing basic information about each projects like author, no of starts, languages, forks, descriptions etc. Users can search projects based on these parameters.
I will host projects from this repo as well.

So people can see how projects are popular/important for the community.

Should I add a project here if owner clearly stated that he is looking for a new maintainer (e.g. in Readme)? It could be hard to reach the owner for permission to do this.

Code Shelter is a community of maintainers for abandoned OSS projects, which fits the bill exactly here. Maybe it could be mentioned in the README, so interested maintainers could add their projects there directly and get help right away? What do you think?
