This is an extension, that is an dashboard. Which means that you can include showing stats from Google Analytics or News from Typo3 CMS. Sure, it's easy extendable.

## How to configure it?

Use extension manager to install extension

Include TypoScript template. Include static (from extensions): "Dashboard (dashboard)".

NOTE: Check Storage Pid If you use T3kit Blue Mountain installation or your website root page uid != 1 Go to Template -> Constant Editor -> Change CATEGORY on MODULE.TX_DASHBOARD (4) Then go to Others and change Default storage PID [module.tx_dashboard.persistence.storagePid] on yours uid.

Improvements

Hi team at pixelant,

my team has provided a lot of improvements in our fork. With this there is a lot done and we use it in production with some custom widgets. You find a PR here: #8, thus everyone could participate from those changes.

Now, some questions raise up on our side:
Will you continue improving this extension in the future?
What are your plans?
Will there be an upgrade wizard for the dashboard extension, that is currently developed in cig_dashboard?

Implement storing of drag-n-drop order in Dashboard.

Currently you can drag and drop the order of the widgets. However, it is not stored/updated. Instead you can access "Dashboard settings" and in that interface move widgets up or down in the list to affect the ordering. My suggestion is to implement a saving mechanism (if the updated order is stored, there's a point in having the drag-n-drop feature in the first place).

If that's not possible for now, drag and drop should be disabled, to not imply a feature that doesn't really work.
