nautilus-webworker-scripts's Introduction

Webworker Scripts for Nautilus

Nautilus’ right-click-menu can be easily extended by adding scripts to the nautilus-scripts folder.

This is a repository for things we made and considered helpful.

License: GPL3 or later

Installation
Copy the scripts you need into ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts

For the YUI Compressor scripts, you need to download YUI compressor and adjust the path to the executable .jar in the scripts.

The Scripts

Minify and combine CSS/JS

This script will combine all selected CSS or JS files and minify them using the YUI compressor. The result will be saved as combined.css or combined.js. If that file already exists, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it.

Note: The file will be combined in alphabetical order, so if you need them in a specific order (overwriting CSS properties), you need to name them accordingly.

W3 validate HTML

This script will upload(!) all selected files to http://validator.w3.org/ to get them checked for markup validity. The result page will be opened in the system browser.
