Consider replacing ESLint formatting with Prettier formatting.

Consider adding noUnused*, strictNullChecks to the TypeScript options. Breaking change.

It would be useful to do some validation of the extensionConfig property in the package.json. Potentially this could be called doctor. Could help to detect errors like wrong times, missing paths, etc.

It's common to create an http.Server within tests (to do a network request). Would be helpful to add @types/http-server as a dependency.

Add a tsconfig that can be used for extending. This is helpful when a user needs to setup their own tsconfig.

Would be useful to have an init command for setting up a new project.

• Do npm init?
• Configure scripts
• Create folders and dummy files

On npm builds it's okay, the package.json will list the dependencies and will be installed and then bundled when the final build is made.

On browsers, you don't have npm or any other way to fetch those needed libs so they need to be bundled with you.
