Docker build for EOSio
-p 9876:9876
is not really userful because this is a single node configuration and this is the p2p protocol port.
-p 8888:8888
is for getting access to http server of the node for REST API.
nodeos -p eosio --hard-replay-blockchain --plugin eosio::producer_plugin --plugin eosio::producer_api_plugin --plugin eosio::chain_api_plugin --plugin eosio::http_plugin --plugin eosio::history_plugin --plugin eosio::history_api_plugin --filter-on="*" --access-control-allow-origin='*' --contracts-console --http-validate-host=false --verbose-http-errors --http-server-address=0.0.0.0:8888 >> nodeos.log 2>&1 &
Add -e
to always produce a block every 0.5 seconds.
--http-server-address=0.0.0.0:8888
is needed otherwise REST API are accessible only from the container, in this way you can access them from the host machine.
