The current markup for a featured-image in Minimum (using the feaured image as the banner):

In the plugin,
<img id="featured-image"....

The major different is the forcing of the image to be full screen, no matter how small it is. Is that the intention? Or, if you upload something smaller, it'll show it as centered?

I'd like to add a setting on what the home graphic should be instead of using the sample.jpg.

For grins, I'm going to see if I can make it work with Streamline. Going to fork it and work on it away from this repo.

I'm editing the files to refine purpose to just changing the banner from the featured image to a new "banner image." I've edited the admin.php and still need to finish the output.php and check the plugin.php in the morning. Long day - headed to bed.

Requested to have text overlay on IMG.

I put the plugin in another site of mine running Minimum 2.0 and it slapped me again. I'm going to look at the server logs and see what I can find out and really do some learning.

It is insisting on using the 300px thumbnail of the banner file and I can't see how to avoid that. I removed the banner's custom image size - it needs to be the full 100% width, auto height (or the actual height).

Very proud of myself for figuring out most of the issues I caused by changing course to concentrate on just the banner. Anyone know how to use the full image instead of a thumb?

I can't get the alt image to populate. I'm about to push a commit that should have the "alt=" only display if the alt tag is filled, but it's not working. Previously, the img tag was rendered as < img src="http://example.com" alt / >.(without the extra spaces)

With new commit, it's valid HTML; just missing info.

IIRC, currently, if no banner image is displayed, the featured image is used…a fallback for folks with many a-posts. We should add an option to display nothing instead of the featured image.

I think a checkbox in the metabox area would do the trick. Happy to do it once this queue of client work is knocked out.
