Import project into QT?

I want to import this project onto QT using: Import Project > Git Repository Clone >
But Is it true that this project is created using Visual C++? So I cannot import into QT?
With free time, I hope to teach myself how to make this qtgstreamerhud for various platforms but mostly embedded Linux boards (R-Pi, Jetson etc)
