AddressBook

A micro site by express, nodejs, mongodb.

Install And Run

Requirements:

1. install nodejs
2. install mongodb
3. install coffee
4. install bower: maybe you should use this with sudo npm install -g bower
5. install node modules: npm install
6. install frontend files: bower install

Run

• go to root directory of AddressBook
• ./start_server

addressbook's Issues

Should use a logger instead of console.log.

We may integrate winston logger. referring to winston.

Error message show up.

Error messages should show in page to tell user reasons when user fail to login or signup or else.

Encrypt password in server side.

Password should not be saved as it is in database.

A password is needed to protect private addressbook from others' eyes.

User need a code to reach a addressbook, the code can be a password, or qrCode.

For example, if I want to reach COE-2007, I need to input a password "pkucoe", others who don't know the password won't get information of our class.

Should model the addressbook.

There can't be only a single addressbook!!
User should be able to create a new one and to invite others through a link or qrCode, students join in the page, and a addressbook is ready to export.
User would have multi addressbooks, he will be able to save the information in our site or export it.

implement the star button(膜拜)

A feature similar to 点赞。

Should file the configurations.

Collect the configurations to a single file, and diff testing, development and production configs.

JsPDF integration.

User should be able to export address book as PDF format. If chance, get investigate other tools to export excel or other formats. For now, the tool to export excel is not very elegant.
