empathy's Issues

Issue with process.js insertion

In package, when inserting process.js Node ENV emulation, path is wrong.

Platform: Windows

Expected:
import { process } from '../../process.js';

What is happening;
import { process } from '..\..\process.js';

The above effectively escape characters '.' and 'p' hence the path is not working.
Always be consistent for all platform when writing path (using '/' on windows works well...)

When will this project be released?

We're using empathy as part of the build step for Arcs. It satisfies our use case for developing a Chrome extension that makes use of Polymer 3 within our fairly simple and straightforward build toolchain.

Thanks to @piotrswigon for setting it up for us despite its current interim status.

"Applying empathy to undefined" logging bug on Windows.

This appears to be Windows-only. Use of empathy for Arcs building the Chrome extension's use of Polymer 3 functions correctly but logging while processing looks like:

Applying empathy to undefined
Applying empathy to undefined
Applying empathy to undefined
Applying empathy to undefined
Empathy applied!
Assets installed to "deps" ๐Ÿ––

FYI @piotr.swigon

Introduce verbose/silent flag

I would like to hide Applying empathy to ${relativePath} logs that are currently taking about 50% of space in our CI logs for PolymerLabs/arcs. I was thinking that we could add --verbose/-v options and only print them out then.

WDYT? @cdata, I'm willing to submit a PR with this.
