This script will combine multiple exported Room EQ Wizard (REW) measurement text files into a percentile-envelope output file. It assumes the exported files share the same frequency grid, which REW does by default. Output file is a two-column freq/dB file you can load as a response curve in REW.
pip install -r requirements.txt --user
- Get multiple measurements in REW
- In REW: File->Export->Export all measurements as text
- If getting measurements for multiple drivers or channels include that identifier in the exported filenames (example: left, right)
- At the command line, cd into the directory containing the exports
- Run the script to parse input files named
<channel> *.txtand output a 95th percentile response curvemake_envelope.py -c 'left' -p 95make_envelope.py -c 'right' -p 95 - In REW: File->Import->Import frequency response for each resulting file
- Now you can use this percentile response curve in REW for EQ->Filter Tasks->Match response to target
