gilfoyle's Issues

Some question about gilfoyle

Hi,

first of all, thank you! I really like that tool! I'm started using this tool this week, and I have some questions:

the df contains 576 columns, but when PDF is created it only contains 13, within the middle one dotted line. No "head" usage in my code.

second, is there any way to change the language?

OSError: cannot load library 'gobject-2.0-0'

Hey Matt,

Big fan of your site.

I was trying to build a report using your gilfoyle package, but I'm having trouble with the installation. The dependencies seem to download fine using pip install gilfoyle, but when I try to run the line "from gilfoyle import report", I keep getting the OSError: cannot load library 'gobject-2.0-0'

I've tried running both inside and outside a virtualenv and installing Weasyprint and Jinja2 independently. Any idea whats up?

Trying to built a report using this lib.

Hi, I am trying to built a report from python using this library, but using the tiles:

  1. Do we always have to add metric_value_before,
  2. If yes, does that has to be last year data absolutely ? is there a way around please ?
  3. The introduction note on practica-data-science page says we can use charts as well, how can i do it please ?
  4. Last question please, can we have more than 1 page_metrics ?

Apologies but i am struggling to find much information on how t

o use the library.
Thank you
