replace-activities-text's Issues

Padding is broken on v44

After the v44 shell update the padding on the icon and text seems to be broken on my machine. I have tried uninstalling and cleaning files but the problem persists. Here's a picture:

update the supported GNOME shell version

Is there some update planned to support GNOME shell version 43?

Seems amending the metadata.json to

  "shell-version": [
    "42",
    "43"
  ],

is the only required change.

Need configuration help

After installing replace-activities-text via the GNOME Shell Extensions web page, I see the new text in the upper left hand corner, but I don't know how to open the control panel to change it.

I tried some guesswork but no luck:

Mar/08-13:21:47:~$ gnome-extensions prefs replace-activities-text
Extension ?replace-activities-text? doesn't exist
Mar/08-13:21:51:~$ gnome-extensions list

This is Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with Gnome Shell 42.9

Adjust Icon Size not persistent

I have replaced the activities text with a custom logo and have adjusted the Icon Size, but the custom Icon Size is not persistent. Whenever I restart my computer, the Icon Size is reset to the extension's default size...

Logo path unusable, better way to select icons

The logo path is unusable because it is too narrow and the UI controls, for some reason, maintain fixed width, even if I widen the window. I suggest making the path a separate row. Or making the button shorter, like just "Reset" and add a tooltip that says "Reset ... to default" to that button.

Also, it seems that currently, I have to select an image file, if I do not want that smily icon for the Overview. In my opinion, you should have set a more sensible default icon than a smily icon, and there should be a way to select one from a list of system's embedded icons, instead of manually specifying the image file.

Add option to prevent Right-click to open configurations

Hello, thank you very much for your extension, it is very useful to me.

I know that it is a quick option and it is convenient, and it is very useful to right-click the activities button to quickly open the extension settings and modify the values.

But. Could you add an option where this behavior is optional? I feel like it can be a little distracting

Thank you very much, regards
