Pressbooks Custom CSS

Roll your own CSS using this custom theme.

Requirements

• PHP >= 7.4
• WordPress >= 5.9.3
• Pressbooks >= 5.34.1
• Pressbooks Book >= 2.18.1

Installation

Manual

Download the latest release and unzip the contents to WP_CONTENT_DIR . '/themes/pressbooks-custom-css/'.

Composer

From within your WordPress or Bedrock root directory, run:

composer require pressbooks/pressbooks-custom-css

Description

The Pressbooks Custom CSS theme no longer supports Custom CSS for webbooks. To customize your webbook, you will need to switch to another theme and use the Custom Styles feature. Be sure to make a copy of the stylesheet below before changing themes, as you will not be able to return to it once you do.

Description

Due to forthcoming changes to the Book theme, Pressbooks Custom CSS will no longer be able to support web stylesheets. We need to disable inputs for web stylesheets and notify users.
