Grep Tool

This project entails developing a customized grep tool. This tool is build as part of coding challenges.

Get started

This tool is in java , so please ensure that you have latest java version installed in your device

step 1: git clone step 1: git clone https://github.com/priyapatelsp/grep_tool.git

step 2: click and run the main.java file to start the project

Step 3: As soon as the java program run ,may type the calculation you want to perform or exit the program.

Then give the command on terminal like below:
Implement support for an empty expression : grep "" test.txt
Simple one letter pattern expression : grep J rockbands.txt
Recurse a directory tree, that is to support the command line option -r : grep -r Nirvana *
This inverts the search excluding and result that matches -v : grep -v Nirvana *
