Is there a particular reason why you forked jaredhoyt/cakephp-wizard but didn't copy the wiki pages?
Because jaredhoyt doesn't seem to work on that extension anymore...

I've got quite a complex wizard all setup for adding a new record. However what I would like to do is use the wizard when editing the record as well. How might I go about this?

Would it be possible to add functionality to be able to save step data to session before submitting? It would be useful when user is filling second step, but he made a mistake in first step so he must return to first step before finishing second step and progress in second step won´t be saved. I´ve seen in working in many pages(I don´t know how it works under the hood), but Wizard doesn´t support it.

Calling the protected function _setCurrentStep doesn't seem right.
