Just for the sake of information.

I use Beeceptor to create a "mock" REST endpoint, which is the target of the requests that mattermost send when hitting any action button/menu and check that it sends what it should.

After following the doc's example here I was still getting just buttons, no menus. I wrote to mattermost team to see what's wrong.

After contacting Mattermost Team, this feature is only supported by Mattermost v5.4+. (I am running 5.3 with Gitlab). I will install 5.4 in a VM and try to get this working.
