When enabling HEN, it downloads the latest signed pkg fine, but when it tries to install it, it gives me an 80029563 error. As far as I could gather from a search, this is a signing error. How should I resolve it?

Hey! I've installed latest versions of both HEN and HFW but now when enabling HEN, the console freezes. May anyone help me with this quite annoying issue?

My Pulse Elite Headset is currently not working again. I previously had a similar problem that was solved with a alternative build of PS3HEN, this thread:

It worked for a while, but at some moment it stopped receiving sound:
-The headset syncs up correctly with the PS3, but no sounds comes out, HEN enabled or not, both in XMB and ingame.
-Testing the headset's mic in Settings/Accessory Settings/Audio Device Settings returns spoken audio to the headset's speakers like normal (I can hear my voice in this test mode), which confirms the accessory is property synced with the PS3, but the system's audio is muted.
-Audio works when playing PS2 games (PS2classics mode), the only instance where it works properly.
-The set works properly on a PC, using the same USB dongle.

What I tried:
-Turning "Heatset Audio Extension" off than on again
-Reinstalling HEN
-Reinstalling OFW 4.85 (still no sound even on OFW)
-Reinstalling HFW 4.85 and HEN again
-Filesystem Restore
-Database Rebuild
-Restoring Default Settings on PS3
-Device reset on both dongle and headset
-Firmware reinstall through Sony's official PS3 app for the accessory

Anything short of a Factory Reset of the PS3... Nothing seems to work.

The problem seams to be with some user-unaccessible configuration with the PS3 itself, unfortunately I don't have access to a second PS3 at the moment for testing, but it works with a Windows PC as normal.
Since I had a similar problem before, I assume it has something to do with HEN.

Jason, it appears that we're unable to enable more than one plugin via boot_init.txt when using an SSD. The web browser fails to close, leading the system to hang after a while.

This issue has been tested by me and 10 other users, all of whom encountered the same problem.

Perhaps implementing a delay before loading the plugins could resolve this issue and reduce the occurrence of crashes during the loading process. (I frequently encounter this issue when webman is being loaded.)

I tried some delays but my lack of skills made no changes

I got the hybrid firmware 4.84 installed, package manager shows, but no package will install.

(PS3HEN.BIN and stackframe.bin are on the root of the USB drive)

Hello! I've tried to install PS3HEN using several offline methods. I've placed PS3HEN.BIN and HEN_UPD.PKG on a usb drive. I use ps3hen_enabler_usb000.html to get it working. HEN start successfully and tries to install HEN_UPD.PKG. But system reboots before package installation is finished. I think PKG installation detection is broken in version 3.2.2. In version 3.2.0 everything is working fine.

It seems hen does not check if it is enabled or not.
It still try to enable, then with a failed reboot.

Dumping PS3 discs on my PS3 Super Slim (CECH-4204A) doesn't work flawlessly.

The only way I can dump ONE (!) PS3 disc to ISO at all with Multiman is this procedure:

• Fresh Boot
• Enable HEN
• Launch Multiman
• Insert Disc and close drive cover

Sounds normal. However when a disc was inserted while still being in XMB it is either not detected in Multiman or I get only sector read errors.
Also I can only dump one disc at a time. If I insert another disc after successful copy, all I get once again is sector read errors.
So I have to reboot the whole system, which is quite annoying. I used to have a normal PS3 Slim with CFW and didn't have such issues there.

I have a small question: Will PS3HEN can run Petitboot launched from Rebug ToolBox in future?

I'm still getting the "this content can not be played in Remote Play" message.

It worked for Resident Evil 6 (the first game I tried), but the game crashed. After that it seems to have stopped working.

Jason, when the dev build is loaded the remaps does not work.

Maybe you Cool Team give repository for translate XMB and ToolBox?
And add download translation from ToolBox?

I was used to editing category_game.xml from the xmb folder and change the "★ Enable HEN" string to something my daughter can read and understand when she boots the PS3, but updating to fw 4.90 and HEN 3.2.2, I can't find that specifig string anywhere.... Can someone point me in the right direction?

When you try to load a PS3 backup iso with Irisman_HEN version, the system shutdown.

As I saw here https://github.com/PS3Xploit/PS3HEN/blob/master/stage0_file/main.c#L30 this workaround only needed for 4.82 DEX, 4.84 DEX and 4.82 CEX. Does stage0 works on 4.84 CEX without workaround, but it still needed for 4.84 DEX?

On HFW 4.85, HEN 3.0.0, the "Check" simbol is not lighting up on the options menu when enabling HEN.

This new version of Hen has the issue that CCAPI functions parcially works, because you can connect a PC to your PS3 system, but in-game changes that you made with a tool for example doesn't make any visual changes, but appears in upper right corner that your pc is connected.

FTP works well in my case, but not CCAPI.

I use PS3HEN 2.2.1 and when I try to launch PSP ISO from multiman I get message that I must renew license. I tried two PSP launcher - Cobra (which is working to mount point) and jikyuu - which is not detected by multiman and says:
PSP Launcher application is not installed!
So I don't know what I do wrong. Any help appreciated.

I have recently installed ps3xpad on a super slim ps3 with ps3hen. However, this is now stopping everything from loading when ps3hen is loaded, including the ftp server function, making the system pretty much unusable when loading ps3hen.

Is there a way to enable HEN without loading the .sprx plugins from cobra in the boot_* file on the hdd0? Like, if I hold a button and enable HEN, will it enable HEN without loading the .sprx plugins?

After filesystem check in case of interrupted shutdown hen crashes every time it is enabled.This is resolved by reinstalling hen and updating hen from hfw tools.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but i'd like to know if it is possible for ps3hen to be compatible with cobra ode, without the use of swap disc.
This could mean compatibility with ofw 4.55, or hfw 4.84/5 modified for ode to not require swap disc (if I remember right there were cfw that allowed ode to work without swap disc past 4.55, not sure if the same can be done on hfw).

idk if this is a hen issue or a hfw issue but before i installed hfw on the original system the ps3 game sound would come through the tv and people with mics would come through the headset, now the game and voices are coming through the headset, can someone help me revert it back to normal so i can only hear game on tv and voices on headset?

I tried everything but act.dat (generated with Apollo Save Tool) won't restore from /dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata/act.bak. I found the code in henplugin/main.c and I don't see any problem, but it just doesn't work.
Act.dat is restored (copy act.bak) when I load the webMAN Mod plugin (lite or not), even if the boot_init.txt doesn't exist. But without it, act.dat will be missing, although act.bak does exist.

Tested on CECH-4004C (HDD) and CECH-4304A (16GB eMMC + HDD) Super Slim consoles with system software version 4.89 HFW.

so i have a ps3 that has ps3hen 3.2.1 on it, but every time i try to do anything on it, it freezes and i have to unplug the power cord. i have tried reinstalling the homebrew multiple times, and even switched hard drives. still the same thing. can someone help me?

HEN appears to start fine every time but the managers freeze at a black screen when they start 70-80% of time time. (is there a way to further debug this ?)

My Sony Pulse Elite headset does not receive any sound ingame when HEN is enabled.
If HEN is not enabled, it works fine.
This headset uses a USB dongle for wireless connection, so maybe it's a conflict with how HEN handles the USB ports?

It only stops working when ingame, on XMB all sound is working.
The PS3 still recognises the headset as connected, even without sound.

Issue was not present on the last "HAN" build I used a few months ago.

I have a problem after the last update 4.91 after installing HEN, from time to time after starting the game the system turns off and asks if I should reset the system but it doesn't help and I have to reinstall hfw and hen and so on PS3 Slim Zach3004a

I’ve installed the latest version of HEN from ps3xploit, and am (trying to) enable it on a PS3 Slim running HFW 4.87.

When I try to enable HEN via the ‘Enable HEN’ button in the games section of XMB, the PS3 freezes. The only way I’m currently able to enable HEN is from ps3xploit’s HEN installer/enabler.

It used to work, when the HEN Enabler has a different/new look/logo, but that page no longer exists on ps3xploit, and never existed here on HEN’s GitHub (I checked the commits).

Tested with the black theme. HEN 3.1.1 on HFW 4.88

Same with purple theme.

Could they make a plugin, so that the .rap files run directly from the usb or internally in the exdata equal to the HEN?

No idea if it was found before but I just found out that if you have password protected your browser with parental control from settings, you cannot install HEN as many times as you try.

Hi, need advice here.
HEN Enabler seem not unfamiliar on Google but it is first time for me after update to hfw 4.90.1 and HEN 3.2.0. It was not issue for me, untill two case bellow decide me to write here.

1. Rambo The Video Game from NoPayStation did not work and force me to quit the game, that first time I missing "HEN Enabler" button, restart the system got back the button and relunch the game just to got stuck on loading then force to quit the game, again "HEN Enabler" button dissapeared. Reinstall the game from another site working without issue so I was though it because the defect game from NoPaystation. I got some not working game from NoPaystation but it never end with missing the button when quit on failed load.
2. Recently after hundreed time ran prepISO to mount pkg from ExFat, I got "HEN Enabler" dissapear but webMAN still working, I able to install game and run them without restart the system. It seem the system in "HEN Enable" state just missing the "HEN Enabler" button. Restart the system bring back the button.

Hey guys i was trying to get HEN working on the HFW on my super slim ps3 after the 4.90.1 update and discovered that i was getting the error “ the page cannot be displayed 80710a06”. Ive restarted the ps3, did the update twice, cleared out the browser, used wired and wireless internet. I was wondering if i could use the source code of the site to create a local web server maybe? Please help me out, if i cant get back the “Enable HEN” option i’ll be losing all my save data and 500 gigabytes worth of games which ive put onto my hard disk.

The HEN installer says that i have to restart the ps3. I do that. And then i have the same Issue again.

I tried every psp launcher i could find on internet on hen 3.2.2 but none works, it always says that i need license to launch it.

Im i missing something?

Whenever you install theme via the theme selector category inside hybrid firmware tools everything seems to work fine...except when you open the in-game xmb or the icons are missing and they are now white squares.

my console freeze every time i try enabe HEN if i use 2.2.1 of newer version.
I have try install OFW 4.84 again 3 times, but same consequence.
Luckily Enabling HAN Blind Flash can install 2.1.1 version back, whitout start over again.
My ps3 is semi slim Finnish language.

Hi, since I installed HEN I can't get PS2 Games working at all, tried loading PS2 ISO's, I get crashes or simply errors like Format not compatible, tried old method with HAN to play PS2 Classics, I can install them no problem, but when opening them my ps3 kinda of turns off, the TV says "No signal" and my ps3 doesn't have any light on, needing two clicks on the button to appear red light and then turn on again.

The DEBUG version of HEN, when transferring hude files over FTP (ANDROID) using webman or multiman, the console will freeze.
