A recurring issue is that the package is difficult to compile, use, and modify for people with limited experience in C++.
The goal of this issue is to increase the user-friendliness of the package by simplifying the build and workflow.

Change the build system to cmake to simplify the build process for the different individual applications.

The Bruggeman computations are completely independent on the frequency spectrum level.
Thus it should be straightforward to add OpenMP parallelization to compute multiple spectral samples at the same time.
