should be hooked up to github actions to build on pushes.

build manifests are a series of steps comprised of tasks that execute in order. manifests are written in yaml and are stored in .github/workflows

• formatted pep8/black
• linted w/ flake8
• type checked w/ pyright or mypy
• unit-tested w/ tox/pytest
• test coverage >90% w/ pytest-cov
• doc coverage >90% w/ sphinx

Ensure good nginx/rtmp access controls

Make sure that all nginx configuration files have "deny" directives where applicable.

unit tests

really should have started with these but didn't. need a tox.ini that runs the gambit of python testing stuff. should work locally and in cicd.

remove nginx

most people will probably have their own reverse proxy. just remove nginx and instead include some stuff in the README.md on how to configure. leave the api.conf and rtmp.conf to be used with slight refactoring.
