Budget Bites ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

We are the CookingMamas and welcome to Budget Bites! This is a web application designed to cater to the culinary needs of the "gen Z" demographic, offering a platform where users can easily find recipes that suit their dietary requirements, budget, and adventurous taste. Users can actively engage with the platform by adding their own recipes, contributing to a community of food enthusiasts!

Getting Started

To use this repository and run the Budget Bites web application locally, follow the steps below:

1. Download the Database:

Before running the application, you need to download the database and import the provided SQL file data_export_v7.sql. This file contains all the necessary data for the application to function properly.

2. Clone the Repository:

Clone this Git repository to your local machine using the following command
git clone https://github.com/your-username/CookingMamas.git 

3. Run the Application:

After cloning the repository and setting up the database, navigate to the project directory and run the app.py file to start the Budget Bites web application.

4. Access the Application:

Once the application is running locally, you can access it by opening your web browser and navigating to http://localhost:5000.
