Ideas for the control of the LCD backlight:

• turn on automatically, on button press
• turn on automatically, when receiving CDP packet
• turn off automatically, after defined timeout

'class W5100Class' has no member named 'getRXReceivedSize'

'class W5100Class' has no member named 'recv_data_processing'

Getting both of these errors. running a W5500 with standard ethernet.h on a ESP32

I have an arduino Ethernet with poe module, I am using an FTDI friend for serial connectivity. I just checked out commit 020bf1e verified and uploaded to my board.

When connected to a cdp enabled switch and using serial monitor to get cdp results I get gibberish:

What could I be doing wrong? should I check out a different commit?

When running the LCD branch on an Arduino Duemilenova (with ATmega328P), the Arduino seems to freeze after a few seconds. Sometimes it seems to take as much as 30 seconds, sometimes just 3. Maybe it has something to do with incoming packets that aren't handled properly.
